Renowned industry experts conducted several rounds of assessments and selected the Huawei NetEngine 5000E Core Router for its superior performance and energy-saving design and the Huawei FusionServer RH8100 V3 8P for its innovative high reliability design, ability to deliver flexible scalability, and superior computing capabilities.
For the third year, Huawei has been recognized by the Best of Show Award at Interop Tokyo, demonstrating that the company’s products and solutions continue meet the stringent technology advancement and product quality requirements of the Japanese market. Interop’s Best of Show Award is highly competitive and aims to identify products, solutions, services and companies that best represents the theme of the event and key trends in the local ICT industry.

Huawei NetEngine 5000E Core Router: The Huawei NetEngine 5000E uses the company’s proprietary solar chip. Each device provides up to 128 x 100GE ports and supports smooth evolution to 256 x 100GE. Huawei leverages a diverse range of eco-friendly design features, such as auto chip traffic sensing, modular power supply, and U-shape air vents to lower the total power consumption to less than 1W per Gbits, topping industry standards. This can substantially reduce the system’s O&M costs. The product uses the SDN and NFV architecture and supports 400GE port capabilities, maximizing customers’ ROI. Currently, NetEngine 5000E has been successfully deployed by a number of world-leading carriers, such as Mobily, TATA, Orange, SingTel, Telefonica, Jazztel, Sunrise, Rostelecom, and Megafon.
Huawei FusionServer RH8100 V3 8P Mission Critical Server: FusionServer RH8100 V3 is Huawei’s flagship product in the server field. This top-notch product supports up to eight Intel(R) Xeon(R) E7-8800 v2/v3 series processors, 144 cores, and 12 TB of memory capacity, offering optimal computing and expansion capabilities. RH8100 V3 supports RAS 2.0 high-availability technologies, such as dual-redundancy, plug-and-play, maintenance without opening the chassis cover, and Huawei’s proprietary online memory swapping. Enabling stable operations, RH8100 V3 applies to large-scale virtualization and key service systems, such as databases, enterprise resource planning systems, and customer relationship management system across different industries. These industries include but are not limited to governments and the energy, power, and manufacturing sectors.
