Birmingham, United Kingdom (Jan 11, 2010) – Leading expert provider of retail solutions including retail design, point-of-purchase, shop-in-shop and flagship store design, Green Room Retail (GRR)’s very own CEO and founder, Richard Ash, was invited by Retail Week to contribute to their November issue.
Retail Week is the leading news publication for the retail industry in the United Kingdom and covers food, fashion, property, technology and stores. Founded in 1988, it is published weekly and features a regular section entitled Good Shop, Bad Shop, where guest writers can discuss their likes and dislikes relating to the retail industry.
Richard Ash of Green Room Retail was invited to contribute to the November issue, where he listed his good shop choice as the Marmite Pop-up in Regent Street, London, citing the entertainment and fun to be had by the Marmite brand and their pop up shops. Richard’s bad shop choice went to Storm, at the Bullring in Birmingham. Richard felt that although Storm has a good brand, he also feels that the site in Birmingham is poorly utilised and bland.
“We’re very pleased for Richard and are delighted that he can add an esteemed publication like Retail Week to his personal portfolio,” said Russ Roberts, Business Development Manager at Green Room Retail. “Retail Week is the undisputed voice of the industry for the United Kingdom and not only will his appearance raise his own profile, it will help to raise the profile of Green Room Retail and our dynamic brand of retail design.”
