Whilst the company’s smoke alarm and fire extinguisher manufacturers already offered a 5 year warranty for most of their range, the equivalent was not available for fire safes, ant-arson mailboxes, emergency lights and Dorgards. However, Safelincs has underwritten these extended warranties as a service to their customers, and most of the extended warranties are available exclusively from Safelincs.
Some of the products covered by the minimum 5 year warranty are fire safes by Sentry, Burton and Phoenix, all fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms, anti-arson mailboxes, emergency lights, and Dorgard fire door retainers. Some products, such as fire door closers, fire door exit hardware and some top end fire extinguishers have a 10 year warranty.
Covered by all warranties are manufacturing defects and product defects resulting from the manufacturer’s design errors. In such a case, the customer should contact Safelincs, whereby a member of the knowledgeable product team will talk through the problem and agree on the most preferable solution.
