Three of the most historic and popular castles in Wales, this Holy Trinity are key tourist attractions within their respective areas. Pembroke was the birthplace of Henry Tudor, father of Henry VIII and grandfather to Elizabeth I. As well as its history, Pembroke is also a fun day out as are Haverfordwest and Carew’s castles. Lately though they have had to upgrade their hidden defences to protect against the growing threat of anti-social behaviour, theft and vandalism.
They chose CCTV4U to install a brand new range of CCTV security cameras; their challenge was to install new, hi-resolution security equipment to the existing structures without compromising their heritage or damaging the building in any way. They succeeded – visitors are able to attend the castles without feeling the intrusion of CCTV monitoring, yet are safe in the knowledge that criminal activity has been reduced thanks to the implementation of updated and modern security measures.
